What Accreditation Means for You

  • Patient Safety: Our hospital has robust systems in place to prevent errors, reduce risks and ensure your well-being.
  • Expertise and Specialization: You're in the hands of highly trained professionals giving specialized care for your unique needs.

The Joint Commission Accreditation

Joint Commission accreditation is an objective evaluation process based on standards set by the Joint Commission. These standards review various aspects of the care delivery process. The standards help care providers develop strategies to identify key vulnerabilities and address potential issues in the patient care experience. Founded in 1951, The Joint Commission is the nation's oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in health care.

CMH has The Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval® for these areas:

  • Hospital since 1983
  • Hospital Laboratory since 1983
  • Clinics since 1986
  • Clinic Laboratories since 1986
  • Home Medical Equipment since 2009
