CMH Hospice ‘Hug in a Mug’ fundraiser raises support for the HOPE program

This Valentine’s Day, Citizens Memorial Hospice will be showing love for Hospice patients and families through their “Hug in a Mug” charity event.

For $35, the fundraiser includes a 2024 insulated mug and coffee trail booklet for discounts and free items at several area coffee stops, including Creator Delights, Bolivar; CMH DJBean, Bolivar; Expresso Company No. 825, Buffalo; Hammons Emporium, Stockton; Maple Lane, Ash Grove; Monroe Coffee Co., Fair Grove and The Hive, Willard.

Valentine’s Day gift wrap is available for an additional $5.

“Financial support for CMH Hospice has a tremendous impact on terminally ill patients and their loved ones,” says Connie Duryee, CMH Hospice coordinator. “We work with hundreds of patients and their families a year. Donations from the fundraiser go to our HOPE program, which provides emotional and physical encouragement to patients and also helps provide bereavement support to family and friends.”
