Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility earns four-star rating from CMS

Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility (LSHCF), a Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation long-term care facility, has earned a four-star overall rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

The CMS star rating system, found on medicare.gov, helps families compare nursing homes by providing a “snapshot” of each facility’s quality. The ratings range from one to five stars and are based on health inspections, staff and quality measures. A four-star rating is considered above average for nursing homes, according to CMS.

“CMS’s five-star rating system is a good general barometer in terms of regulatory inspections, quality indicators and staffing levels. To be above three stars requires success in all of these areas, and our four-star status reflects our team’s efforts to provide exceptional care and services,” said Chris McBratney, LSHCF administrator. “I sincerely appreciate our staff’s passion for being the best for our residents and each other.”

Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility is a 90-bed long-term skilled nursing facility located in Stockton, Missouri.
