Lisa Hogan joins CMH’s quality team
Lisa Hogan, RN, MSN, joined the quality department at Citizens Memorial Hospital as the patient safety and regulatory compliance coordinator. She has more than 30 years of experience in health care.
Hogan served 26 years on active duty in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Public Health Service. She was stationed at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland; Immigration Health Services in Batavia, New York; and the Federal Bureau of Prisons in both Springfield, Missouri, and Ayer, Massachusetts.
Previous roles include being a nurse practitioner, director of nursing, director of quality and utilization review program coordinator. She also worked on crisis response teams for natural disasters like tornadoes and hurricanes, and at Ground Zero after the 9/11 attack in New York City.
Hogan holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the College of Charleston in South Carolina and a nursing degree from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. She has master’s degrees in counselor education from McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland, and in nursing from The State University of New York at Buffalo.
Hogan started working at CMH in July. She leads patient safety initiatives and focuses on regulatory compliance requirements.
