Stephens Pharmacy offers friendly, reliable and convenient service. We even have a drive-thru for your convenience. Stop by the pharmacy for personalized service. We can help with prescription refills, discounted over-the-counter medications and diabetic supplies.

Insurance

Our community-based pharmacy accepts most major insurance plans, including CoxHealth and Mercy. Call 417-326-6003 to fill a prescription, transfer a prescription or talk to our pharmacist.

How to Transfer Prescriptions to Stephens

The fastest way to transfer a prescription is to ask your doctor to send a new prescription to Stephens. You can make this request through your CMH Patient Portal. If you need help transferring your prescriptions, please let us know.

Immunizations

Stephens Pharmacy offers vaccines during regular business hours. With short wait times and no appointment necessary, Stephens Pharmacy is a great place to get vaccinated. Pharmacists can administer many types of immunizations, but the most common include:

• Influenza virus vaccines (age 7+)
• Hepatitis A and B vaccines
• Pneumonia vaccines
• Shingles vaccines
• Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis vaccines
• COVID-19 vaccines (age 7+)

Tobacco Cessation Classes

Over the course of eight sessions, Freedom From Smoking® group participants work through the quitting process together. Research shows increased success when a tobacco user spends time in a supportive situation while trying to quit. Participants are six times more likely than those who quit on their own to be tobacco-free one year later. Learn more and register for an upcoming course.

RxLocal Mobile App

Use RxLocal, an easy-to-use mobile app to make getting your medications convenient with features that make your life easier. Download RxLocal from the Apple App Store or Google Play to your smartphone to use these features:

• Mobile refills: Order and manage medication refills from your phone.
• Prescription management: Start managing your family's prescriptions. RxLocal keeps you organized if you are managing medications for a child, spouse or elderly family member.
• In-app messaging: Communicate with us using the built-in HIPAA secure 2-way messenger.
• Reminders: Set reminders for yourself to pick up and request refills.

By Phone

Call 417-326-2416  to request a refill by phone. You can request a refill through an automated phone system 24 hours, 7 days a week. During business hours, you can talk directly to a pharmacist.

Prescription Renewals

If your prescription is out of refills, use the secure Patient Portal to request a prescription renewal from your doctor. This is available from any computer with internet access.

Our CMH Pharmacy team provides complete pharmacy services at home, in the hospital or at a long-term care facility.

Medicine-On-Time

We can organize your prescriptions into a sealed cup labeled with your name, contents and when to take your medicine. The Medicine-on-Time technician will synchronize your refills and prepare your next package well in advance of running out. No more calling in refills or keeping track of multiple prescription bottles.

MedSync

A pharmacy staff member will call once a month to review and process all your prescriptions. Your medications can be mailed, delivered or picked up on the same day.

Free Medication Delivery

• Home delivery is available for patients in Bolivar and Humansville.
• Meds-to-beds available at hospital discharge.

FLAVORx

Sometimes a medicine’s taste is the only thing between your child and getting healthy. FLAVORx empowers kids to choose the taste of their medication, making medicine time easier for you and your little ones.

Questions about your medications?

• While in the hospital, please have your nurse inform the pharmacy of your medication questions. We want to help you have a medication plan for discharge.
• After discharge, please contact our outpatient clinic pharmacist at 417-328-7562. The pharmacist is available from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. to answer your medication-related questions in-depth. Please leave a voicemail after hours, and the pharmacist will contact you promptly.
